  • 12th Jan, 2021 - We will be using Wilson balls at this tournament.

Please note that you are required to play backdraw matches if you lose in the main draw in singles, doubles and mixed doubles. Backdraw matches are part of all seniors tournaments and you are required to complete them.
If you withdraw from backdraw matches, your name and the reason for withdrawal will be recorded. The National Seniors Committee will take action against players who are repeat offenders without valid reason.

A well run tournament. I understand you cant keep everybody happy all the time.To the tournament referee and all other officials involved - thank you for doing a normally thankless job. I know how difficult and frustrating it can get at times, yet you managed fantastically.

Very well run tournament at Parkdene, notwithstanding the foul weather. The courts are in great condition as was the whole club and grounds. The ground staff worked tirelessly to dry the courts. A special comment on the girl at the tournament table who spent more time than anyone else sweeping the courts, with hardly any thanks. I am sorry I did not yet your name, but thank you for going beyond the call of duty.
Theo and your team --- thank you and well done. I look forward to playing there again next year.

First big seniors tournament and what good players there are! Despite the facilities not being great (several courts had a few cracks) and the rain, the organisers really tried. A good experience and a nice touch to have a stringer plus tennis gear too. Good people there (no bad incidents, injuries or poor sportsmanship ) and looking forward to the next one.

Was only frustrated the last day with the scheduling... It was 4PM the afternoon with 2 open courts and everyone wanted to get on court to get back to their families but we were told to wait until we were put on court, after 20 minutes of trying to get on court to eventually forced ourselves on court, I understanding the rain made it difficult but in these circumstances common sense can work.
2 Open Courts = get the players on the court so everyone to get their relevant matches done.
